Having spent my last 3 years travelling the world, competing in the NCAA Mens Collegiate Tennis System as well as the Mens International Tennis Tour, being able to remain calm and regulated during big moments was something I had struggled with throughout my entire playing journey.

Performance anxiety and an inability to "slow down my mind" hindered my ability to perform at the highest level, until I discovered Breathwork.

Breathwork was a tool I was able to implement into my life daily that paid dividends both on and off the court. The exponential effects these practices have had on my overall health and well-being is what sparked my passion to share these techniques with others, in the hope that they too can have a similar experience.

I first found breathwork and meditation in 2019 and have been practising regularly ever since.

I played for the Adelaide Crows in the AFL for three years, before returning to Melbourne in 2023. During my time in professional sport there were many challenges along the way. One thing I could always come back to were these practices. Learning to regulate my breathing and find stillness in the present moment were key in navigating through those challenges

Having experienced the benefits of these practices firsthand, my curiosity grew, and I began learning more about Breathwork, the nervous system and how these practices improve our health. I completed two Breathwork facilitation courses and started running some small workshops.

Fast forward to today, and I gain a lot of fulfilment from guiding other people through these practices and seeing how it positively impacts many other people.

I graduated from Caulfield Grammar alongside Fischer and James in 2019 and have now obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology, studying at the University of Melbourne.

I am now completing an honors year in psychology to become a registered psychologist. I also captain the University of Melbourne football team and play for the University Blues in the VAFA.

Having struggled with balancing work, sports, education, relationships, and family, I found that a daily breathwork practice enabled me to respond to a busy schedule with clarity and calm. This is what has led me to seek to investigate how breathwork can be used to help reduce stress in a University setting.
